Description

Sapphire Components

We specialize in custom CNC machining of sapphire components, delivering high-precision special-shaped parts for demanding industries including medical devices, semiconductor manufacturing, and high-end electronics. Sapphire (single-crystal Al₂O₃) offers exceptional hardness (Mohs 9), superior wear resistance, high thermal conductivity, and excellent optical transmission from UV to mid-infrared.

Our advanced 5‑axis CNC grinding and diamond machining capabilities achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.001 mm, with sub‑nanometer surface finishes (Ra <0.5 nm). We produce complex geometries – non‑circular windows, stepped prisms, micro‑lens arrays, and custom profiles – that standard machining cannot realize.

For medical applications, our biocompatible sapphire parts are used in surgical lasers, endoscope windows, and implantable sensors. In semiconductor equipment, sapphire components serve as wafer handling end‑effectors, etch chamber liners, and high‑temperature fixtures. High‑end electronics benefit from sapphire’s scratch‑resistant and anti‑static properties, ideal for smartwatch crystals, optical cover plates, and RF substrates.

All production follows ISO 9001:2025 standards, with optional ITAR/DFARS compliance for defense‑related projects. From rapid prototypes to full‑volume OEM orders, we provide end‑to‑end CNC machining, polishing, and quality inspection. The main characteristics of sapphire glass

The main characteristics of sapphire include high hardness, high scratch resistance, high transparency, high temperature resistance, etc., so it is widely used in many high-end applications.

  1. Scratch resistance: sapphire glass is made of artificial sapphire crystal, with extremely high hardness, can resist scratches and wear in daily useto maintain the clarity and gloss of the glass surface.
  2. Transparency and optical performance: sapphire glass crystal has a high degree of transparencyand can transmit more light, so that it has a wide range of applications in the field of observation and display. Transmittance band: 185 ~ 5000nm
  3. High temperature resistance: the melting point of sapphire glass is 2045°C, and the application temperature is generally below 2000°C.
  4. Pressure resistance: As a kind of high-strength glass, the compressive strength of sapphire glass at room temperature can reach 2.1GPa, so it is used as a viewing window in deep sea diving.
